I’m Joseph W. Bourke, Owner and Creative Director of Bourke Media. My over thirty years experience in advertising and television production as an Art Director, Motion Graphics Artist, Writer, and Television Producer gives you an advantage: you’re dealing with a seasoned professional who knows every aspect of the media creation and production process. If you’re just considering electronic media production, or are at the Request for Proposal stage, I invite you to get in touch. Because I work outside of the Boston metro area, I can bring projects in for a fraction of metro pricing, but with the same, or higher, level of production quality.

My clients are local and regional businesses and non-profits, large regional businesses, and high-tech businesses who sell their products all over the world. They all have one thing in common: they have a story which needs to be told. Their story may be meant to sell more products, help a new owner of that product make it work, or tell a compelling story. I also do contract work for a number of advertising agencies and media production houses who don’t have an animator/motion-graphics artist on staff.

Everything you see in my galleries is my work. Period. I do a great variety of projects, for an even greater variety of clients.

As Writer, I can tell your story, whatever its purpose, and give it the impact it needs. I’ve been writing for the spoken word my whole career, and I know how to write believable, convincing scripts that get your point across. As Art Director, I can oversee the global view of your project, making sure that it fits your corporate image, and make sure every detail combines to enhance the finished production.

As Motion Graphics Designer and Animator, I know how to take your description, or a still graphic or diagram, and turn it into a moving, eye-catching entity which will grab the viewer’s attention, and enhance your visual message.

As Producer, I know full well that, while I can do it all, there are projects where the scope is such that I have to call in the troops. I have access to the best and brightest talent in New England and beyond – Videographers, Directors, Assistant Directors, Lighting Directors, Animators, Editors…I’ve worked with them for years, and we work together as a team. I can assemble talent for your project on short notice, and turn a project around in a short space of time, if need be.
